About MSYFL
Mid Sussex Youth Football League (MSYFL) is a ‘not for profit’ organisation run by a management committee made up of volunteers.
MSYFL operates in accordance with the rules, regulations and policies of the FA. The administration of these rules is carried out by the league management committee. Sussex County FA oversees all disciplinary issues.

The geographical area covered by MSYFL membership is East Sussex and West Sussex, and up to twenty miles beyond the county boundaries into Kent and Surrey. All clubs wishing to register with the league must be affiliated to an Affiliated Association (County FA).

Our Values
We are committed to nurturing the growth and enjoyment of youth football across the South East of England.
Our core values centre on developing players’ technical skills, promoting physical fitness, and encouraging self-discipline both on and off the pitch.
We champion sportsmanship, teamwork and respect for all — creating an inclusive and supportive environment where fair play is celebrated and every young player has the chance to thrive.

How We Operate
MSYFL welcomes clubs of all sizes, ranging from newly formed teams to well-established grassroots set-ups. The season runs from the beginning of September to 30th April every year, during which time we manage a structured calendar of youth football fixtures.
We have multiple divisions in each age group ranging from U7 - U18. At the end of every season we hold an awards event, where teams and players are celebrated and rewarded for their hard work and commitment throughout the season.
With hundreds of young people taking part each week, we work in partnership with clubs, county FAs and safeguarding officers to ensure every match day is fair, fun and safe. We ensure clubs have the guidance, resources and governance needed to thrive.
